Today, my family (including some out of town family with kids) visited the park for the first time. We rented a cabana which was nice to have, I would recommend it to anyone who is going to spend a day at the park with kids. It was nice to have your own area with it being so crowed, you never had to worry about your things being picked up or moved, and you always have a chair. My complaint is over the service of the wait staff at the cabana. We ordered food for everyone and it took well over 2 hours for us to get our food and drinks. This is no exaggeration, 2 hours for cheeseburgers and fries and a couple of sodas. We spent those two hours waiting while this time could have been spent enjoying our day. While we waited there were other families receiving their orders, some getting things two and three times..while we sit and wait with hungry and anxious kids.
Today there was one person taking care of the cabana orders. She obviously was a little over worked and surely could have used some help, I do not necessarily blame her for today because she worked her tail off, but as we wait, I am watching two more girls sit under the umbrella to the entrance of the cabana area checking for wrist bands. Now I know it is not rocket science, but I am sure one of those girls could have chipped in with the wait staff. I think one pair of eyes to check for wrist bands is good enough to get the job done, considering how long we waited for our food and drinks. For the money you pay for the cabana and the services that were offered as part of that payment..I would have expected a lot more.
To top the day, the bill for our food not only included our order but the orders of the families in the next cabana. So as we pick up to leave, we are again waiting for our bill to be corrected.
The overall experience was a little frustrating and I hope by reading this message you can correct the issues we had today. If there is only one person taking orders for the cabana
s...then I suspect I am not the only one who has had this problem |

Thank you so much for taking the time to detail your frustrations with food service in the Cabanas, and please accept our sincerest apologies. Our Food & Beverage manager (who is highly experienced but also new to the waterpark this year) immediately set to work to make sure the problems you experienced are solved. He called a meeting with the Cabana wait staff specifically to address your complaints and come up with solutions. The best way for us to improve our guests' experience by acting on feedback from guests like you, and we truly appreciate it. _________________ Tiffany Quilici, Director of Sales & Marketing
